History

The lodge was opened for business in 2010 and has been providing hundreds of happy holidays for thousands of guests. We hope you will be as impressed with the facilities at Butlin's as we are. We were very lucky to have the opportunity to purchase one of the exclusive premium plots within the caravan village as there are only a handful available. This meant we could enjoy the fun, exciting entertainments, fantastic seafront location and award-winning food as often as we liked.

As the sole owner, I only use Butlin's approved contractors to manage the holiday home so you can be assured of the highest attention to make sure your stay is a pleasant one.

It is our aim to offer unbeatable value for money and service and to ensure that our customers have an enjoyable holiday. This premium plot at Butlins Minehead sleeps up to 6 people and as there are only a few spots like this around the lake you can be sure of a special time.

Butlin's Minehead has welcomed many famous guests throughout its illustrious history and continues to do so for all ages, from cBeebies presenters for "Just 4 Tots", Justin Fletcher, Dick and Dom for Kids to supergroup "Madness" for the Madness weekender convention.

Billy Butlin rented out the Minehead camp during World War II and following the end of the war, re-invented how holidays happened and through continual re-investment even today you can come and use most of the activities and entertainment without spending an extra penny

Minehead facilities

Butlin's Minehead is the largest sites of all 3 Butlin's, the main Skyline arena tent has been designed to allow audiences to watch from all angles which ensures everyone gets to the great acts performing. In addition there are additional theatre spaces such as Reds, centre stage, a cinema.

The fantastic Splash Waterworld included with your cost of accommodation is an all weather swimming complex with tubes, slides, toddlers area, 25metre pool, wave machine.

WIFI is available around the caravan village and in all public areas.

Check in and check out times

Your accommodation will be available from 4pm on the day of arrival.  Check out is 10am, if you would like to extend your check out time it would be charged at £10 per hour after 10am

 Disabled Access

Unfortunately due to the design of the lodge it is not suitable for disabled access, however please do get in contact and I can discuss any special requirements you may have prior to booking.

Dogs

Unfortunately we cannot accept pets due to my family having an allergic reaction.
